High Resolution Airborne Multispectral Sensor (HiRAMS) System

SpecTerra has been developing specific hardware, software and operational procedures to deliver high quality and high reliability airborne digital multispectral imagery since 1992.

We now offer an end-to-end airborne imaging system for the acquisition, processing and delivery of multispectral imagery for vegetation monitoring projects.

HiRAMS System overview:

  • Four channel camera system specifically tuned to measure visible and near-infrared (NIR) wavelengths for vegetation monitoring
  • High spectral resolution: interchangeable narrow-band spectral filters recording a bandwidth range of 20nm
  • High spatial resolution: SpecTerra's HiRAMS system can acquire pixel resolutions from 0.25m to 1.5m
  • Portable system for a reliable, rapid and low cost mobilisation
  • Access to SpecTerra's proprietary high speed, high quality spectral image processing system

HiRAMS Spectral Bands

Default bandpass filters:
Band One: 450nm (blue)
Band Two: 550nm (green)
Band Three: 670nm (red)
Band Four: 780nm (NIR)

For specific applications, filters within the range of 400-950nm may be installed.

Single engine or twin engine light aircraft
